Who would have thought that those old bill board tarps could be turned into tough and rugged snowboard bags?  We have all seen the large tarps being thrown over billboards, with large prints of advertising slewn all over the freeways.  These tarps are made to stand up to some serious elements, infact they have built in ripstop that comes at extra cost for fancy jackets.  So, why not turn them into fancy snowboard bags?

The snowboard, or splitboard bag from Rareform is made for rugged travel.  Although they are made in California, these bags are meant to get out and travel.  The bags defiantly turn heads. When in a resort parking lot, or in the airport.

The bag has a zipper that goes from the around the top leaving it completely open to just before the bottom.  This leave a nice little cup for dropping a board or couple boards into while holding the bag up.  Also, included is a shoulder strap and a tough handles in the middle, and at both ends that is well balanced when carrying a board in the bag.  For traveling, there is a clear pocket for displaying airline or location information.  The last standout feature is the outer quick access zipper pocket.  It’s just big enough to throw some accessories in, a couple magazines, or any other goods you want to keep more accessible that from inside the board compartment.
