The Odin was selected by backcountry mag as the editors choice for this year, making it one of the most highly coveted splitboard of the season. If you are a beginning split boarder the odin is a great buy offering the foundation for learning the ropes as well as offering the ability to grow into a powerful freeride all mountain machine.
This board was built for Johan Olofsson’s solid riding style and outback terrain, the Odin combines all mountain precision with powder specific features for all mountain performance across the full range of big mountain conditions like crust, corn, and pow. A Moderate sidecut delivers wide arching turns and quadratic sidecuts offer plenty of grip, while a rockered shape buoyancy and serious stance offset promise plenty of float when the goods get deep. The Odin can basically dominate in any conditions.
The Odin features a full 360 steel edge on each board half and comes with the Voile hooks/clips, which helps justify the price.
The board Helga fit together very tightly. This gives the board a much tighter feel when on a hard edge.

Hunter, we actually just sent the Venture Zelix splitboard back to Venture after taking a few rides on it. Watch for a full review of the board coming soon. Overall, great solid built board, with a softer flex than most splitboards.
