Warning Atomic Poacher Quality
Here at Splitboard Reviews we feel a responsibility to seek out quality boards and advise when we find something contrary. We recently came across this video of a Atomic Poacher who blew an edge out on seemingly nothing. We haven’t had a close look ourselves at the Atomic Poacher but some of the comments led us to pass along the warning.
Currently (2013) Atomic does not have any splitboards listed on their website. They may have taken a few years off to re-group and take a better look at their products.

He hits a rock
No need for a warning
Any board would lose an edge!
Jon, it is hard to tell if he hit something or not. I agree, normal board flex should not cause that kind of damage.
You can see an object, possibly a rock. I think it is unfair to post this suggesting otherwise.
He hits a rock in full speed, this would happen to any board. I have done the same with a K2 board, and the damaged looked the same.
Riders fault… this could happen to every board or ski if hitting stones.
