The North Face Mountain tent is a super strong tent designed with the outdoor elements in mind. North Face tents are know for their strong and over planned out design and functionality. The tent has strong zippers reflective lines, glow in the dark zippers, Kevlar guy lines and adjustable camming.

The tent fly can be a bit daunting as with any tent, it doesn’t stay in place all the time, and can be an inconvenience at times.

This high feature 2 man tent has the standard crossing 2 poles and an additional 2 supporting poles that create the 32.5 sq foot floor area. The Vestibule Area in the front is 8 sq ft. The tent is light enough for a two man trekking tent which is what turned us onto it. Although it’s a single double wall tent, that isn’t specifically made for snow camping, it’s a good cheaper do all tent for the person looking for the step up from the Walmart tent. The big selling point for this tent is that it’s a good 4 season tent that can handle most environments and landscape.

Most of the other online reviews rate this tent at a 4 out of 5 stars. Boasting its ability to survive wind and thunder storms. Although it’s not the lightest tent, we think it would make a great trekking tent when accessing the backcountry, or just spending a night in the backyard.
