How NOT to perform an Avalanche Rescue

There are many videos on the interweb that show avalanche rescues caught on tape.  Thankfully this guy wasn’t seriously injured.  The video shows that there may have only been one beacon shared among 4 rescuers. Additionally, it seems like only one shovel was shared between them as well.  The rescue caught on a POV camera shows that at least some avalanche experience was within the group.

This should be a reminder to always be prepared when in the backcountry or off piste in a resort.  Be save, knoledge can be your best tool in the backcountry.
