TGR recently did an article with Joey Vosburgh who is a professional backcountry snowboarder for G3 and Arc’teryx and one of the top names in Canada’s backcountry.  He is a heli-guide and guides for Whitecap Alpine as well as CAPOW.

Joey Vosburg explains what it really means to become a backcountry guide, and It’s A lot more that you would have expected.  When lives are at hand, it’s good to know the amount of training and experience that needs to go into someone that you might be risking your life with.
